How Does Better Stands Affect Stand Cost? Requirements Differ by Event

Better Stands is a programme that Informa Markets runs at its own events for space-only stands; it aims to move away from single-use stands and towards reusable structures (Informa Markets, CPHI Japan: Better Stands ↗). The programme’s event page says the cost of reusable stands is generally lower than that of disposable stands.

Which items are assessed

The programme has three levels, and space-only stands are independently verified at the end of the event. Bronze covers the stand structure and walls, platform, furniture and equipment, and lighting. Silver adds fascia and overhead signage, rigged structures, ceilings and display facilities. Gold also includes graphics, decorative items and floor covering (Informa Markets, CPHI Japan ↗).
